What is InsightTube?
InsightTube helps you understand YouTube videos faster by using AI to provide:

- •Smart chapters
- •Subtitles + translations
- •AI Q&A based on video content
You get deeper insights without watching the entire video.
Data & Privacy
InsightTube does NOT store:
- ×Your AI chats
- ×Your prompts
- ×Your search keywords
We only store:
- ✓Your account email (Supabase Auth)
- ✓Basic video processing results (summaries, subtitles, chapters)
Video Processing
InsightTube supports:
- ✔Public YouTube videos
- ✔With or without subtitles
- ✔Any language (AI auto-subtitles supported)
Unavailable for:
- ✘Private videos
- ✘Members-only videos
- ✘Age-restricted or region-locked videos
Subscription & Billing
How do I cancel my subscription?
All subscriptions are managed by Apple:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → InsightTube → Cancel
We cannot cancel on behalf of users.
Delete My Account
You can delete your account directly in the App or Chrome Extension:
Settings → Delete Account
We will permanently remove all your stored data.
Supported Technologies
InsightTube uses:
- Supabase Auth – account login
- Supabase Database – store video processing results
- RevenueCat – subscription status
- Gemini – AI processing
- YouTube API Services – video metadata
- Firebase Cloud Messaging – push notifications
All third-party services follow their own privacy policies.
